She has gauged evolving industry trends and actively planned to make things different, and accounting for the fallout. What makes her stand out is the consistency and clarity she offers, easily straddling the unique challenges of leading a consumer-facing industry-centric body. Being a true advocate of the power of collaboration, she ensures that multiple teams work in unique ways towards a single objective.

 

NDC continues to educate consumers about the world of natural diamonds and highlights the positive socioe-conomic and environmental impact through the ‘do good’ approach of the industry. In 2021, Singh spearheaded the release of the first-ever diamond jewellery trend report in India, featuring the latest trends curated by editors, stylists, designers, celebrities and industry insiders who are arguably the best minds in the luxury sector. She also introduced a pioneering two-day virtual diamond festival, featuring celebrities, experts, industry thought leaders and connoisseurs who united to revel in the brilliance of natural diamonds. These one-of-a-kind initiatives set the stage for the council to collaborate with ace designers and Maison houses alike to highlight their inspiring journey with natural diamonds.

 

Under Richa Singh’s leadership, Natural Diamond Council India had a benchmark 2021 filled with many firsts. Despite being a not-for-profit organisation, their marketing efforts through 220 pieces of content, brand campaigns and 464 retail collaborations delivered 45 million website visits, 306+ million social impressions, 210 million YouTube views and reached 510 million consumers.
