The Shri Kaupineshwar Cultural Trust and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Thane, organized the 25th edition of their annual New Year Daud at Yeoor Air Force Base, Thane. Themed "Run for Nation", the event aimed to inspire youth towards fitness, discipline, and unity, reflecting the values of Swami Vivekananda, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as National Youth Day on 12th January.


It was independently organized and hosted by Shri Kaupineshwar Trust and ABVP. It witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 2,500 youth from across the city.

The event was graced by MLA Sanjay Kelkar (BJP, Thane), Sanjay Waghule (BJP President, Thane), Aditya Chauhan (Social Activist), Uttam Joshi (President, Shri Kaupineshwar Trust), Sanjeev Brahme (Working President, Shri Kaupineshwar Trust), Dr. Ashwini Bapat (Secretary, Shri Kaupineshwar Trust), Mahendra Kothale (Trustee), Arvind Joshi (Trustee), Tanay Dandekar (Convenor), Vijayraaj Bodhankar (Internationally renowned artist), Aarti Notiyal (Bubble Communication, celebrating its 15th anniversary).

MLC Adv. Niranjan Davkhare (Konkan Graduate Constituency), played a key role and was a strong pillar of support for the event.

Dr. Aneel Murarka, Founder of Ample Mission Foundation, contributed snacks to energize participants. Cultural performances and wellness stations added vibrancy, while a recognition ceremony honored the youth's passion and dedication.

This 25th edition of the New Year Daud, coinciding with National Youth Day, served as a powerful reminder of the critical role youth play in building a healthier, stronger, and more united nation. It was a fitting tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s vision of empowering the youth to shape India’s future.
