Deepak TR, a seasoned memory coach based in Bengaluru, recently represented India at the prestigious World Memory Championship held in Istanbul, Turkey, from December 4th to 10th. With 24 years of experience in education and memory training, Deepak has revolutionized learning techniques, becoming a key figure in enhancing cognitive development across the country.

As the head of Pace Tutorials, Deepak has carved a niche in educational innovation by training over 100,000 students across diverse academic levels, from 8th-grade students to postgraduates. “I intend to make learning an enjoyable and stress-free experience for students,” says Deepak. The World Memory Championship held in Istanbul marked a triumphant moment for India. Deepak’s students demonstrated exceptional skill, with Master Achinth clinching the prestigious International Masters of Memory (IMM) title and Ms Arshvi Shah securing second place in the Speed Reading Championship in the Juniors category. Collectively, the team’s outstanding performance resulted in India securing the third position in the World Ranking.
This achievement is particularly significant given Deepak’s extensive experience of training more than 1,00,000 students across various professional levels. His innovative approach continues to distinguish him as a leading memory coach for national and international aspirants, emphasising accessible and engaging learning techniques that challenge traditional rote memorisation methods.
Deepak has received the Bharat Jyothi Award and was honoured as the Youngest Entrepreneur. His expertise spans multiple domains, working with high school students, graduates, competitive exam aspirants, teachers, and corporate professionals. As a handwriting analyst and motivational communicator, he brings a holistic approach to learning and personal development.
After his immense contribution to the World Memory Championship, he was appointed as the President of the WABA League in India by Tony Buzan International. From 2025, Deepak will be hosting the first-ever Speed reading and mapping championships in India.
Recently, he has served as the CEO of the Indian Memory Sports Council and has served as the President of the Karnataka Memory Sports Council for the past three years. Significant accomplishments under his direction include the successful organisation of three National Memory Championships and two Karnataka Memory Championships.
