About Little Pet Shop
At Little Pet Shop, the team believes in protecting and preserving wildlife. It is illegal to keep certain species of birds, such as Indian parrots or other native species, in captivity as per Indian Wildlife Protection laws. These birds belong to nature, not cages.
The team is committed to rescuing such birds with the help of the Forest Department. If they come across illegally captured birds, the team works with forest officials to rescue the bird. Furthermore, they ensure that healthy birds are released back into the wild. Little Pet Shop is known to provide medical care and treatment for injured birds before releasing them into their natural habitat.
The team emphasises, “If you notice any illegal captivity of birds around you, please report it to your nearest Forest Department officer. Let’s work together to ensure these birds are free and thriving in nature, where they belong. Your small step can make a big difference. Together, we can give these birds their freedom back.”
