Ever since Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli started dating, they have made it a point to be together on special occasions. And if the latest buzz is to be believed, the actress travelled all the way to Mohali, where India is playing its first Test against South Africa, a day before her cricketer beau turned 27.

Says a source, “On Wednesday morning, Anushka flew to Delhi and from there, headed to Mohali in a chauffeur-driven car that Virat had sent for her. They were together as he brought in his birthday, but wrapped up the celebrations quickly since he had to wake up early the next day for the match. However, in the evening, they spent quality time with each other.”

A source close to the actress confirms the buzz, saying, “They went out for dinner on his birthday and Virat’s close friends from the Indian team gave them company for some time. They were extremely discreet about it since the Test match is on.”

Last year too, Anushka had taken a break from the post-production of NH10, to celebrate Virat’s 26th birthday in Ahmedabad where India was playing against Sri Lanka.
