Director Mohit Suri is lovestruck. In the brief time that he separated from his girlfriend Udita Goswami he penned down a few lines for her, which have now made their way into his film Raaz-The Mystery Continues, in the Soniyo track.

Ironically, the song is filmed on Kangana Ranaut, who was the cause of the temporary split between director and his model-turned-actress girlfriend.

Tough time

Mohit admits, "I'm not a writer, but that period when Udita and I broke up was very difficult for me. I was having a very tough time accepting it, and had just written one line of the song which goes, 'Tu dede mera saath thaam le haath chahe jo bhi ho baat, Tu bas de de mera saath.'

It was probably the moment without Udita, one of those sad moments without your loved ones, which actually helped me to write such beautiful lines for the song. Raju Singh who does the background scores for all my movies heard these two lines and he was like, 'This is it.' With his and my assistant Vishal we completed the song."

Having patched up with Udita now, he says, "She is in love with the song and I always play it when I am with her. This song is very close to both our hearts and I hope it reaches out to everyone who is in love."
