Ground Zero director Tejas on bringing authenticity: ‘BSF appointed a...'
This week, the makers of Ground Zero unveiled the gripping trailer of the Emraan Hashmi-starrer, setting the tone for an emotionally charged, high-stakes story grounded in real events. Audiences have lauded Emraan Hashmi’s striking transformation into BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, while the authenticity of the film’s world — from military precision to emotional depth — has added to the buzz. Director Tejas Deoskar, who helms the film, shared an insightful anecdote about the process behind that authenticity — and how closely the film worked with the BSF to ensure accuracy at every level. “Whenever we do stories and films on armed forces, we make sure that the information we put out, the protocols that we need to show on screen are accurate. So, we definitely take help from the organization. In this case, it was BSF,” he shared. ‘Commandant Narendranath Dhar Dubey was involved’ What made this journey even more unique was the direct involvement of the man whose story the film is based on — Commandant Narendranath Dhar Dubey. “Mr. Dubey was very much involved right from the beginning. And his subordinate, Binu, was also involved. So, while constructing the entire script, we were constantly in touch with them,” Deoskar explained. “Whatever doubts we had, we used to ask them. And they used to graciously tell us the details — the nuances of things — which we could incorporate.” While the script development drew from literature and reference material, Deoskar says the validation came from Dubey himself. “To just authenticate it, we had to always go back to Dubey. And I think we are blessed that he was always available to help us out.” BSF’s contribution in filmmaking Their contribution didn’t end at scripting. “We were shooting in Srinagar, Kashmir, on actual BSF bases,” the director revealed. “During the shoot, they visited a few times. BSF had even appointed a liaison officer who was constantly with us — guiding us on how to correctly portray soldiers, operations, ranks, and even greetings.” Every detail, Deoskar emphasized, was treated with the utmost respect. “We made sure we do not demean BSF’s pride in any way. Their mannerisms, their protocols, their names — everything was minutely taken care of. After getting a clean chit from the CBI in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, Rhea Chakraborty, along with her brother Showik and her father, visited the Siddhivinayak temple to seek blessings from Ganpati Bappa. The actress was seen reaching the Siddhivinayak temple in Dadar, Mumbai. She posed for the paparazzi and chanted "Ganpati Bappa Morya" as she interacted with them. CBI involvement in Sushant Singh Rajput's death The CBI investigated two separate cases — one filed by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, with Patna Police, accusing Chakraborty of abetment to suicide and siphoning off ₹15 crore from the actor's accounts; and the second filed by Chakraborty in Bandra, accusing Rajput's sisters of giving medicines to him based on a bogus prescription issued by a Delhi doctor. The CBI concluded there was no material to support the allegations that anyone could have driven the actor to suicide, officials said. The agency finally decided to file its final reports, bringing to rest five years of conspiracy theories surrounding the death of the Bollywood star, they said. Rhea's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, said, "She had to undergo untold miseries and was behind bars for 27 days before being released on bail." Sushant, who was in a relationship with Rhea, was found hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in suburban Bandra, Mumbai, on June 14, 2020. He was 34. His postmortem conducted at Cooper Hospital concluded that the actor died due to asphyxia.

The trailer shows Ajay returning as the fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who once again takes on the corrupt system. This time, he faces off against a dangerous politician, played by Riteish Deshmukh. The trailer begins with a strong punch, showing Ajay preparing for his next big mission--one that could shake the foundations of power. However, Ajay's character is not alone--he has a strong team ready to fight alongside him. Their goal is clear: to wipe out black money and take down those who misuse their power.
