Bollywood singer  Ankit Tiwari who recently made headlines for giving a break to a young prisoner in jail for his singing talent, recently met Nitin Gadkari (Road Transport And Highway Minister of India) in Nagpur at his residence. Ankit was performing at a concert organized by Shri Nitin Gadkari. Ankit urged the Transport Minister to help resolving the bad roads and transportation issues in Mumbai for which a number of commoners, underprivileged people surviving on the streets are affected on daily basis. He was also seen having a conversation in regards to public welfare and thanking the minister for his doting contribution for well build highways across the country and their maintenance.

The Minister addressed Ankit’s urge and attended his concert where the Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis was also available, praising his contribution towards the entertainment industry and giving a platform to fresh talents to show case their abilities with his newly launched music label, Mist music. Ankit also posed with the former Indian WWE wrestler, The Great Khali and praised him for his global contribution in the world of fitness.

For the unversed, Ankit has delivered major hits like ‘Teri Galliyan’ from ‘Ek Villian Returns’, ‘Shammat’ of the same franchise, his recent song ‘Aye Dil’ has crossed 5.6 million views in less than a week and is currently ruling the music charts.
