Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's son Aryan was arrested by the NCB on October 3 in connection with a drug seizure on a cruise ship. Days after his arrest, Hrithik Roshan has extended his support to the 23-year old.

Sharing a note for Aryan on Instagram, Hrithik wrote, "My dear Aryan. Life is a strange ride . It’s great because it’s uncertain. It’s great cause it throws you curve balls, but god is kind. He gives only the toughest ones the toughest balls to play. You know you are chosen when amidst the chaos you can feel the pressure to hold your own. And I know you must feel it now. The anger, the confusion, the helplessness. Aaah , the very ingredients that are needed to burn the hero out from inside you. But be wary , those same ingredients could burn away the good stuff... the kindness, the compassion, the love... (sic)"

Hrithik Roshan further advised Aryan Khan to own everything he experiences and to be calm and trust the light within. Several Bollywood celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Sussanne Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Abhimanyu Dassani, and others, commented on the post with heart emojis and their own words of support.

Before Hrithik, Suniel Shetty, too, spoke in support of Aryan in a media interaction. He said, "When there is a raid, several people are caught. We assume that this child must have consumed drugs or that child must have done it. But the proceedings are on, let’s give that child [Aryan] a breather.” Shetty added, “Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinises everything and jumps to conclusions. Give the child an opportunity. Let the real reports come out. Baccha hai. Taking care of him is our responsibility.”

Shah Rukh Khan's fans have been rallying in support of the superstar and his son. They have been putting up posters outside his Bandra home, and Mannat is full of messages from admirers expressing their unconditional love for the star and his family.
