In another twist to the Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut controversy, the alleged leaked WhatsApp chats between Partho Dasgupta, the arrested former CEO of TV ratings agency, Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), and Arnab Goswami claim that Ranaut is 'sexually obsessed with Hrithik Roshan'.

In 2017, Goswami had interviewed Roshan, which was touted as the superstar's first interview about his rift with Ranaut. While claiming that the interview will break records, Goswami went on to tell Dasgupta, "I think Hrithik is dumb and Kangana is schizophrenic." When Dasgupta asked what Roshan had said off-camera, the news anchor revealed that Roshan said that "he was never in one room with her."
He added that Roshan believes Ranaut has 'erotomania', which he went on to explain to Dasgupta that "she is sexually possessed with him." Goswami also wrote about Ranaut "crossing the line" by her explosive revelations and that "people are scared of her and will boycott her." Though screenshots of the alleged leaked chats are doing the rounds of social media, Roshan and Ranaut have not reacted to what Goswami has said.
