Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's wedding was a lavish yet intimate affair. Held in Udaipur, right in the middle of Lake Pichola, the couple exchanged vows and embarked on a new journey. The actress and politician made the destination wedding experience enjoyable for their guests.

Now, according to the latest reports, it has been learnt that Parineeti and Raghav had a no-gift policy at their wedding. A Pinkvilla report claimed that they didn't accept gifts from their loved ones. Instead, the couple kept a minimum Milni amount of Rs. 11. In the Punjabi culture, Milni is a tradition that celebrates two families coming together. The bride's family members give gifts to the groom's relatives which includes money and clothes.

Parineeti's aunt and Priyanka Chopra's mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, was asked by the paparazzi about the gift she gave to the newlyweds. She said, "Unhone sab mana kardiya. No lena dena (They refused everything. No give or take)."

For the wedding, the actress wore a Manish Malhotra handcrafted golden tone-on-tone geometrical lehenga which took over 2,500 hours of work. Manish shared pictures of her outfit and her interesting and meaningful kaleeras. He revealed on Instagram that the actress wanted to incorporate her maternal grandmother's traditional keychain into her look. "Some details make all the difference. I distinctly remember discussing the lehenga design with @parineetichopra, who mentioned adding her Nani's challa (traditional keychain) to it! She wanted to pay a heartfelt tribute to her nani, who used to wear the same challa in her saree with the keys, a symbol of being the lady of the house," Manish said.

He further added, "For Parineeti, the sound of the challa when her nani walked around the house, was a melody of strength and grace. And that's when I knew we HAD to add that piece of legacy to her lehenga. Of course, we added more elements that were significant to both Raghav and Parineeti like London, music, Khanda Sahib and more. It was not just an accessory... but a piece of her that Parineeti would have on her special day."

According to reports, Parineeti will be moving to Delhi permanently.
