London: Comedian David Walliams still has "a lot of love" for wife Lara Stone following reports of a trial separation among the couple.
The 43-year-old is reportedly undergoing a trial separation from his wife, with who he has 21-month-old son Alfred, but is hoping they will soon get things back on track for the sake of their little boy.
"It is only a trial separation at the moment and not a final split. David still hopes they can get things back on track for him and their son Alfred. He still has a lot of love for Lara," a source told mirror.co.uk.
It has been claimed one of the reasons for their split was that the 31-year-old model hated speculation about her husband's sexuality.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Lara didn't like constant talk about him being camp. She didn't really understand the humour of it."
It is believed Stone moved out of their home here with their son and dog after the couple, who married in 2010, experienced problems for several months.
Wednesday, following the revelation of their split, David was pictured here looking tired and glum but still wearing his wedding ring.
