As Bigg Boss 17 comes to an end, things are heating up inside the house. Couple Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have faced testing times inside the house with their marriage bearing the brunt of it. During the family week, Vicky Jain's mother came into the house and accused Ankita of multiple things including using her ex Sushant Singh Rajput to gain sympathy. Now, Rashami Desai, who is a former Bigg Boss contestant has spoken in support of Ankita while slamming her mother-in-law.

Rashami posted a throwback photo with Ankita Lokhande and wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Stay the way u are. I love you for being u. U have been thru Many changes and it's not only for u. The contribution of ur love and the person u love is equally important. U have earned everything with ur hard hardship and became #ankitalokhande virast main mila fearless attitude ne tujhe banaya hai (your fearless attitude has helped you reach where you are today).”

“And I really love u so much. U never needed this. But with lot of love u have accepted and hope family will surly understand the show will get over and it's not about Ankita. It's about both of them. They are mature enough to handle," she added in another post.

The 'Uttaran' actor also urged Vicky's mother to not play games outside the house. "And I know aunty aap ko shayad bura lage. Par vo dono mere dost hai (aunty you might feel bad about this but Vicky and Ankita are my friends). They are part of #bigboss and Contestant. Aap bahar aake bigboss na khele plz. Zindagi abhi baaki hai mere dost (please don't play games outside the Bigg Boss house. There's still more to life).

In another story on Instagram, Rashami shared a video of Vicky's mother and wrote, "M sorry aunty. She never wanted to do this show. She did it for her love for @realvikasjainn. And Kharche palna padta hai ka kya maltab hua aunty???? They both had a love marriage and usse pehle bhi wo road par nahi thi. She's Ankita Lokhande. Bhale big boss aapke bete par paisa lagye. Ladki hamari bhi Khara Sona hai. Sab Ki apni ladai hoti hai. Par aap nahi chhati inki shadi tike?? Har pati-patni main jhagde hote hai. Aur show bhi difficult hai. 2 din main aapke yeh haal hai. 4 mahine nakalegi to aap taqleef samjhengi. Aap ki izzat karti hun. Hamesha karungi. Par yaha aap  galat hai (What do you mean by handling expenses? Before marriage, she was not on the road. She is the Ankita Lokhande. Everyone has their own fights and don't you want their marriage to sustain? The show is difficult and within 2 days this is your state. You would understand their pain if you spent 4 months in the house. I respect you but you are wrong)".

In a promo for 'Bigg Boss 17', Vicky's mother is seen spending some time alone with Ankita. During their conversation, she told Ankita, "Jis din tumne laat maari thi, papa ne turant tumhari mummy ko phone kiya, 'Tum apne pati ko aise laat maarti thi?'." Ankita replied, "Mummy ko phone karne ki kya zaroorat thi, meri maa akeli hai, mere papa ki death hui hai, aap mere mummy papa ko mat bolo please."

Ankita's mother also sat down with her daughter and son-in-law Vicky, and told them, "You both are not appearing to be who you are."
