Sarabhai vs Sarabhai remains to be a cult show. Headlined by Ratna Pathak Shah, Satish Shah, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan and Rajesh Kumar, it was one of the most-loved and watched shows on Indian television. The second season came in 2017 and was a limited-episode series on Disney+ Hotstar. Now, as fans demand a third season of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Maya (Ratna) and Monisha (Rupali) had a reunion recently.

Rupali attended the special screening of Ratna's film, Dhak Dhak, recently. The actress posed for pictures with the veteran star. Sharing pictures from the screening, Rupali wrote on Instagram, "This precious connect. 2nd pic she switched on the Mummyjee mode. I love you forever #ratnapathakshah."

Satish, Ratna, Rupali, Sumeet and Rajesh often catch up, serving nostalgia to fans of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. On Satish's birthday this year, the cast reunited at a restaurant to celebrate the special day. Sharing a heartwarming video, Rupali wrote on Instagram, "Some friendships last a lifetime!!"

In an interview with Outlook India, Rajesh, who played the character Roshesh, opened up about the possibility of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai season 3. He said, "Whenever the production house feels, whenever the OTT platform feels, whenever all the actors are free enough to do ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’, we will definitely request them to at least have a closure Season 3. But it not yet confirmed because everyone including Rupali, including Ratna Pathak, including Sumeet Raghavan – Everyone is busy in their own world. So, this is the time. I don't think it is going to happen soon. Sorry to disappoint you."
Ratna a.k.a Maya said in an interview with Mirchi Plus, "You will have to wait for Season 3 of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai...look at all of us now, where we are. Try to get dates from Rupali Ganguly now. Tauba! Or Sumeet (Raghavan). How can you even catch them? I can't even get them to say hello on the phone. I am so happy for them. But it makes the producer's life practically impossible. Well, everyone’s too busy for the third season of Sarabhai. It’s been 17 years since the show and we are blessed to be sitting together and clicking pictures with each other."
