The 9th Pulotsav cultural festival will debut with u00a0its new name -- Pulotsav Tarunai -- on December 15 and will put the spotlight on talented youth

Get set for Pulotsav, which will commence from December 15 and showcase movies, music, literature and art by talented young artists. It will encompass music sessions, group discussion, an award ceremony, an exhibition for books and a short film festival. u00a0




At Pulotsav Tarunai this year (as the festival has been renamed), the Pu La Smruti Sanman award will be presented to those who have been an inspiration to the youth.u00a0In the past, the award has been presented to Girish Karnad, Gulzar, Lata Mangeshkar, Vijaya Mehta, Kishori Amonkar and ND Mahanor.u00a0

The Pulotsav Krutadnyanta Samnan award will be presented to an individual or institution for their outstanding contribution to society.u00a0The Pulotsav Tarunai Sanman award will be given to the upcoming talented youth.

The highlight of the festival will be the short film screenings where you can watch 25 interesting short films. Book lovers can choose from the thousands of books which will be on sale at discounted prices.u00a0
