>> Pixel is the first smartphone with Google Assistant -- a built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme that works as an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator in the vein of Apple's Siri or Microsoft's Cortana.
>> Both Google Pixel and Pixel XL are equipped with a 12.3MP rear camera with 1.55 micron pixels and f/2.0 aperture and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), which handles situations as it is dependent on software to compensate for handshakes, poor-lighting.
>> Both the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones come with a 24/7 live support for Google’s customer service in which users will be able to share their screen with troubleshooters.
>> A new feature known as Pixel launcher, which can be activated after a hard press on the phone dialer will show recent contacts, along with a new layout for the apps. The launch can be changed too.
>> Unlimited storage in Google Photos for images and videos is being offered on Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones. Users can also store everything in full resolution, even 4K video on Google Photos. Local versions of the photographs will be deleted and backed up in full resolution on cloud once the devices are running out of space.
>> The Google Pixel has a 2,770 mAh battery while Pixel XL gets a bigger 3,450 mAh battery.
