Dermatologists Recommended Monsoon Hair Tips!

Chicnutrix Bounce

Hair problems are one of the most common issues faced by everyone. All my clients frequently ask me for solutions for hair fall and frizziness. Especially during monsoon, your hair problems tend to increase, and many people face sudden and severe hair issues. The reason is the change in climate and increase in humidity. To add to it, there already are causes like pollution, dust and dirt that cause hair fall. Some people tend to get dandruff and itchy scalp during monsoon as it is the perfect breeding ground for scalp infection. However, you need not worry because there are ways that one can protect their hair and keep them healthy, despite the weather. Let us look at some solutions for all the monsoon hair issues.

Use a mild shampoo

It would help if you changed your hair care routine to suit the humidity in the atmosphere. It is a good idea to increase the frequency of washing your hair. Due to the humidity, a lot of dirt gets attracted, and when it settles down, it will make your hair brittle and cause hair fall. Therefore, it is ideal for washing your hair a minimum of 3-4 times a week during the monsoon season. Also, it is advisable to use a mild shampoo if you increase your frequency of washing. Avoid getting your hair drenched in the rain but if that does happen, wash it as soon as possible as rainwater is full of pollution in the environment. A wash will help remove the pollutants from your hair.

Avoid junk food

It has been observed that during the monsoon, people tend to eat a lot of junk food. People favor oily and greasy food, and this grease, combined with the bad weather, naturally causes a lot of negative reactions in your body, which later reflects on the hair and causes problems. Instead of falling into this trap, it is advisable to eat healthy food. Replace your usual breakfast with sprouts and add some flax seeds to your salad or simply eat a spoon of them after every meal. Go heavy on fruits and vegetables and be careful about your diet. As with a healthy diet, you can surely avoid a lot of monsoon hair problems.

Use a wide-toothed comb

During the monsoons, the wind is high, and your hair can get terribly tangled and messed up. Therefore, using a wide-tooth comb on damp hair will prevent hair breakage while detangling it. Avoid using a wooden comb as they tend to develop fungus during the monsoon and add to your problems. If you are using a hairbrush, make sure its bristles are gentle and avoid tugging your hair too much while combing. While traveling, avoid leaving your hair open all day. Keep them tied in a loose knot or plait. It will prevent the hair from getting tangled and breaking.

Avoid hair dryers

If you get drenched in the rain, it is quite tempting to dry the hair with a dryer. But remember that during the monsoon, the hair is sensitive and susceptible to further damage from hair dryers. So as mentioned above, first of all, remove the pollution from the hair with a mild shampoo and then use a cotton towel to pat it and allow it to dry naturally.

Add Supplements to your routine

Adding hair nutrition supplements is a good idea during monsoon weather and making it a lifestyle habit.  Supplements add the missing nutrients from our body and ensure your hair gets all the right nutrition to maintain its bouncy, shiny and healthy look. Chicnutrix Bounce is a complete hair food with its unique formulation with a hair recovery complex of amino acids, biotin, and selenium. It not only helps reduce hair fall but also promotes hair density volume. The regular consumption of this supplement reduces frizz, dullness, promoting bouncier, shinier hair that is strong from within.

If you note all the above simple tips for hair-care during monsoons, you will surely see a visible change in your hair quality, strength and texture. All you need to do is make these changes in your hair-care methods and ensure that your hair is clean and nourished. If your hair fall issues persist or become severe, you must visit your dermatologist and get checks done.
