Mumbai police has arrested two members of a so-called 'Bol Bachchan' gang which targeted jewellers from Ajmer in Rajasthan, an official told news agency PTI on Tuesday.

The accused, identified as Altaf Fakir Husain (40) and Jabir Ali Talib Hussain (38), both residents of Madhya Pradesh, had committed similar crimes in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi and Hyderabad, the official told PTI.

Recently, they had allegedly relieved an employee of a jeweller of gold jewellery weighing 225 grams, the official said.

One of the accused stopped the jeweller's employee on Dhanji street in Mumbadevi area posing as a devotee from Ayodhya, the official told PTI.

Then the other accused engaged him in conversation and stole the jewellery he was carrying, the official told PTI.

The accused were traced to Ajmer and a team of Lokmanya Tilak Marg Police Station was sent to Rajasthan to nab them. Further probe is on, reported PTI.

Meanwhile, A 20-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in suburban Chembur after a group of four persons including a teenager attacked them, police told PTI on Tuesday.

The feud between the two groups arose after one of them took objection to another man talking to his girlfriend, an official of Trombay police told PTI.

The incident took place in Cheeta Camp area on late Monday night.

According to PTI, the deceased was identified as Malik Sheikh while the two injured were identified as Mohammad Arman and Haider Khan. Kaif Shah, Abdul Kadir Kanan and Amin Sheikh were arrested while a 17-year-old youth was also apprehended.

Shah had an affair with a woman and he had objected in the past when one Afzal, Malik Sheikh's friend, spoke to her, the police official told PTI.

On Monday, Shah had a spat with Afzal over the issue. The dispute escalated and the minor accused allegedly attacked Malik with a sharp weapon who died on the spot. Two others were injured in the melee.

Police nabbed all the four accused under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections including 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder) and sections related to rioting and further investigation was underway, the official told PTI.
