So, you think Delhi's done it to death when it comes to sports bars. Right? Wrong. There are still a few that refuse to conform to the come-play-drink-hog code, and win you over with that extra edge. Here's one.

Drink
Why won't your spirits soar high (all puns intended) when you're served drinks that are yummiliciously christened Maria Sharapova and Sania Mirza, and as if that wasn't slurpacious enough, available in peach and apple flavours? Ladies can try wonders like cricketer Kevin Peterson and soccer icon Zinadine Zidane. The shooters are as flirtatious -- kiss my lips, just love me and the flaming dancers, to name a few. Then, there're are international and domestic range of beers, brandy, champagne, tequila, wine, whisky, gin and everything else. If you've walked in with someone who frequents juice bars more than 'bars', let him/her try out mocktails like choco mist, frozen bite and i-guave. All worth the sip.
Food
While food is something that sports bars usually don't excel in, this one's is an exception.u00a0
The world cuisine served here is more or less a fusion. You can start the gastro game with char-grilled charmoulla cottage cheese sticks, fire and rice, Thai kaffir leaves infused garden fresh veg curry, or carnivores' favourites like five-spiced scented duck breasts, tandoor smoked bali pomfret and shoe-string bedded bhuna gosht. However, your visit wouldn't be complete without tasting duck cigar rolls and king prawns with tequila.
Then, there are a variety of salads like tandoori treasure salad, Caesar grilled herbed chicken salad and fresh catch from the Arabian Sea. You can order rice or breads as accompaniments along with all the dishes. The dessert menu has just three selections -- ice cream combo exotic TSB sundae, dessert shots and warm double chocolate muddy brownie -- but none of them disappoint.u00a0
Ambience
A warm and casual ambience, pool table, multiple LCD screens and popular rock music lend it the place a cool feel. However, the real 'sports- bar-ness' lies in the second section, The Arena, with three levels of stadium-like seating, a giant 47 feet wide screen, amateur basketball section and pool table. There's also a pull-out stage for live performances by bands and DJs. Now you know why the scoreboard shines.
