The health of 74-year-old Anna Hazare seems to be stable, say doctors examining him. Hazare has entered the eleventh day of his indefinite fast
"There is stability in blood pressure and heart beat. He has taken rest. He had six litres of water and the ketone levels have come down," said Dr Naresh Trehan.
Trehan said it was a 'matter of concern' that for the past 10 days, Hazare was on fast and that he has not eaten anything. "This will have an effect on his body. Till now, he has already managed for 10 days and he is stable. We are monitoring his health round-the-clock," added Dr Trehan.
Hazare has lost seven kg in weight since August 16. His blood pressure was recorded at 102/80 last night, and pulse rate was 78.
