“The work of scrutinizing the documents of the building is going on and we are now looking for those involved with the construction work,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (zone II) Ramnath Pokle.

He informed that Sanjay Nande and Lahu Sawant will be summoned for the inquiry. Pokle added that samples of construction material like cement, iron rods and other building material will be sent to the forensic lab for a quality check as there is a fear that sub-standard material was used during construction.

He said that so far no one has turned up from the Pune Municipal Corporation to lodge any complaint in this regard, but the police will go ahead and lodge a complaint against the owners. u00a0
