Serial-kisser Emraan Hashmi wants an image makeover

SERIAL-kisser-turned-good-boy, Emraan Hashmi seems fed up of doing kissing scenes and is keen for an image makeover. So, the next time you go for his movie hoping to see some sizzling smooching scenes, you may be in for a disappointment.

When asked why most of his films are under Bhatt banner Emraan shot back, "I am open to other banners too. It's very unfortunate that I have not been offered films outside. But you can't judge my career by the people I work with."

Box office

Emraan appears to be most happy with his films doing well at box office. "What matters to me is the mass appeal. I don't care much about the critical acclamation. I am not saying that it does not matter at all, it does, but box office success is more important," he pointed out.

Looking at the havoc created by the crowd, Emraan proved his point about mass popularity. The security guards and the multiplex staff had a tough time controlling the crowd. But unlike other Bollywood professionals, Emraan and Suri arrived on schedule.

Inspired

Director Suri rubbished claims that Raaz 2 had similarities to Hollywood films like Shutter, Mirror and The Ring. He, however, agreed that some parts in the film may have resemblance to Korean and Japanese films. "The film has been inspired by true incidents in India, but no one has spoken about it due to its sensitivity," he added.
