Like charity, good business ideas seem to begin at home too. Tanya Anand and Richa Choudhary did not find it hard to think of the perfect gift for a friend who was getting married. Finding the right gift wrap, however, turned out to be the difficult task. "All we needed was the perfect embellishment to make it more special. We went from shop to shop but found nothing impressive," says Tanya Anand, co-owner of Etcetera. The experience was enough to get the two thinking about setting up Etcetera that would provide creative gift wrapping solutions. Richa and Tanya started dabbling in the peculiar profession because they wanted to give an ordinary gift a lift.
From jewellery boxes, chocolate boxes, calendars, notepads and tissue box holders,u00a0 Etcetera can add an ingenious touch to almost anything you can think of. Tanya says, "We also customise paper and boxes to suit customer requirements. You can choose from different paper prints including pink stars on a white background, staring owls and retro shades."

It has been less than a year since Tanya andu00a0 Richa started off but Etcetera has managed to find a space for its creations at various stores in the city including Tresorie, Loose Ends, Bombay Stores, Party Hunterz and Contemporary Arts and Crafts.
