Humans are unbeaten creators, inventors and explorers, inspirers. This du00e9cor designer, sure is. Mukul Goyal believes in using routine human actions to design his products, mostly luxury utilities. And he can do much more than get creative with a cork. 
Funky and functional
The collections, that he calls 'ID', includes tables, showpieces, keepsakes, lamps, paperclips, hardware, pot holders and other funky, functional products. There are metallic clocks, wine stacks, ice buckets, cardholders, salt and pepper shakers, bowls, mirrors and bowls, among other things. All of these are made of brass or stainless steel or aluminum, and boast of colourful patterns. We loved 'em.
It's only human!
"The human form has been used for as many as 5,000 years in the country. However, it is only recently that people have started treating them as objects of functionality and not just as an art. That's why I call them 'art hardware', or art that you can use," signs off the Gurgaon-based bloke.
