Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has called on the Maharashtra state government to fulfill promises made to the people, similar to what the previous government did. He emphasized the need for the state to make farmers debt-free, as was done earlier under his party’s rule. Thackeray also pointed out that women in Delhi are set to receive Rs 2,500, and he believes that women in Maharashtra should get the same benefit. He criticized the current government for focusing on religion, culture, and history, suggesting that these issues are being used to divert attention from more pressing problems like poverty and unemployment in the state. Thackeray urged the government to focus on real solutions for the people’s struggles.
