Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, is on a hunger strike at Gandhi Maidan, demanding the cancellation of the BPSC`s 70th preliminary exam. In an interview with ANI, he said the protest would continue and criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Kishor accused Nitish Kumar of caring more about staying in power than the welfare of the people. He stated that despite working in Bihar for over two years, his efforts are labeled as politics. Kishor also mentioned that Nitish Kumar did not help people during the COVID crisis, focusing only on retaining power. The students protesting in Patna are calling for the cancellation of the BPSC`s Integrated Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2024.
