The Union Budget for 2025 will be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1. The Budget is a key event for the common man, as it impacts their daily life. In the past, the Budget was traditionally presented on the last working day of February. However, the current government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, changed this practice and moved the date to February 1. This shift was made to allow more time for the implementation of the proposed policies and decisions before the new financial year begins on April 1. By presenting it earlier, the government aims to give businesses, investors, and government departments enough time to plan and prepare for the upcoming financial year.
