A four-storey building collapsed in the Kaushik Enclave area of Burari, Delhi, on January 27, leaving several people trapped under the debris. Rescue operations are currently underway, with 12 people having been rescued so far. The rescue efforts are being carried out by a joint team comprising the Delhi Police, Delhi Fire Services, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Authorities are focused on safely retrieving those still trapped in the rubble. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, who visited the site of the incident, emphasized that the primary priority for the government is the rescue of those trapped under the collapsed structure. The cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, and authorities are continuing their efforts to assist affected individuals and ensure their safety.
