PM Modi Encourages Public Figures to Join Campaign Against Obesity

In the 119th episode of Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi, along with athletes Neeraj Chopra and Nikhat Zareen, talked about the growing problem of obesity. He stressed the importance of reducing obesity and suggested cutting down on cooking oil in daily meals. PM Modi also nominated several influential people, including J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Anand Mahindra, and Sudha Murty, to join the campaign against obesity. The Prime Minister encouraged these individuals to inspire 10 others each to support the cause. Omar Abdullah joined the campaign and nominated 10 more public figures, such as Deepika Padukone, Irfan Pathan, and Supriya Sule. The initiative aims to fight obesity and reduce cooking oil consumption in everyday life.
