A SpaceX capsule carrying four astronauts arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) early on March 16 as part of NASA`s crew-swap mission. The mission, known as Crew-10, will allow two astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, to return home after spending an unplanned nine months aboard the ISS. The SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule, launched from NASA`s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on March 14 at 7:03 p.m. ET, docked with the ISS at 12:04 a.m. ET on Sunday, about 29 hours later. While the mission is part of a routine crew rotation, it also marks the long-awaited return of Wilmore and Williams, who had stayed on the station after delays with Boeing’s Starliner capsule. Both Wilmore and Williams are experienced NASA astronauts and retired U.S. Navy test pilots. They remained on the ISS after a problem with the Starliner capsule forced NASA to return it without a crew. This mission has gained added urgency since President Donald Trump took office in January, prioritizing the return of the astronauts to Earth.
