After failing to land Kaka, City manager might have to give up Robinho too
Disappointments continue to haunt Manchester City as its new rich owners look to turn the side into formidable Premiership giants.
Two days back, Kaka turned down a record deal and decided to say with AC Milan hampering City's aim of scaling height in England.
The dream took another blow after boss Mark Hughes admitted that dealing with Robinho is not easy as it looks.
The former Real Madrid star who went missing ahead of a scheduled training session is now in Brazil and will return this weekend. And Hughes is waiting for him desperately. "Robbie left without permission, he felt that he had personal things that he needed to attend to. He made the decision to leave the camp and go back to Brazil. That was not with my permission," he said.
"The situation at the moment is not really practical to get him back here with time differences and length of flights, so he will be back at the weekend ready to train.u00a0

Robinho is an important cog in the City wheel and his talent and performances cannot be overlooked.
Often, Hughes had been blamed for treating Robinho with kid gloves but it seems Robinho's sudden departure has Hughes fuming.
While there are indications that Robinho will be slapped a heavy fine, English tabloid The Mirror reported that after Hughes failed to land Kaka, City is on the lookout for out of favour Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. And Hughes can only secure the Ivory Coast star if he is willing to swap Robinho.
Normally, Hughes would not have gone ahead with it. But after Robinho's indiscipline, anything can happen.
Especially when City is looking to land some of the biggest stars. Having already lost Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, Barcelona star Thierry Henry and Kaka, they could ill afford losing Drogba too.
Plenty of problems for Hughes over the weekend and not much time to deal with it.
