An outstanding batting effort takes the Punjab Kings to 214 for the loss of five wickets in the IPL 2024 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Prabhsimrah Singh scored 71 runs off 45 deliveries including 7 fours and 4 sixes.

Having won the toss, Punjab Kings Jitesh Sharma opted to bat first in the IPL 2024 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Opening the innings, Atharva Taide showcased his skills by smashing 46 runs in 27 balls including 5 fours and 2 sixes. Prabhsimran on the other hand, scored 71 runs before losing his wicket in Vijayakanth Viyaskanth's over. Coming to bat at number three, Rilee Rossouw missed his well-deserved half-century by just one run. Facing just 24 balls, Rossouw blasted 49 runs which were laced with 3 fours and 4 sixes. Star batsman Shashank Singh departed early in the IPL 2024 match against SRH. He was able to score just two runs. Captain Jitesh Sharma did not disappoint in the IPL 2024 match against SRH. He played a fiery, unbeaten knock of 32 runs which came in just 15 balls. His knock also included 2 fours and 2 sixes. Ashutosh Sharma and Shivam Singh registered two runs each to their names. PBKS posted a humongous target of 215 runs in the IPL 2024 match against SRH.


Pacer T. Natarajan bagged two wickets by conceding 33 runs in his four overs. SRH captain Pat Cummins and  Vijayakanth Viyaskanth claimed one wicket each. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy was the most expensive bowler from Hyderabad's perspective. He leaked 54 runs without any wickets in three overs. Lead pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shahbaz Ahmed went wicketless in the IPL 2024 match against PBKS. Bhuvneshwar was smashed for 36 runs in four overs.
