English football club Manchester City striker Sergio 'Kun' Aguero has announced that he will stay off the pitch for two weeks due to a knee injury. "During yesterday's training I had a discomfort on my left knee. The club's doctors told me I'll be back with the team in approximately two weeks. Now it's time for a full recovery!" Aguero said in a Twitter post, reports Efe.
The Argentine striker is expected to miss the English Premier League (EPL) match on Monday against Stoke City but hopes to arrive in time for Argentina's friendly matches against Italy (March 23 in Manchester) and Spain (March 27 in Madrid).
Aguero, however, is set to travel with the Manchester City expedition to Abu Dhabi for a five-day training camp there. "This is an ideal opportunity for the players to enjoy some sunshine and prepare for the challenges that still lie ahead. We flew out to Abu Dhabi last year and it will be a pleasure to return this year," Citizens coach Pep Guardiola told the club's Web site.
