Meet a person with a skill you can use

Bhatia calls herself a second generation artist because she grew up watching her mother not only teach, but also make all sorts of creative crafts such as paper flowers, fabric flowers, candles, mehendi designs and painting. She helped her mother conduct the craft classes, but five years ago, realised making paper flowers was her calling. Since the paper floral industry is nascent, she conducts workshops to teach and educate people to think of it as more than just a school-level craft. Besides providing crinkly blooms for weddings and home décor, she also does storefront installations, table décor for intimate gatherings, photo booths and customised bouquets. Everything she offers is customisable. Going forward, she wants to explore fabric blossoms, and see how paper and diaphanous fabric look together.
