Mumbai recorded a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius on Wednesday

Santacruz observatory in suburban Mumbai recorded a maximum temperature of 37.7 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 25.8 degrees Celsius, according to an IMD weather bulletin

The weather department's data showed that the city observatory in Colaba recorded a maximum temperature of 33.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26.2 degrees Celsius

Meanwhile, some parts of Mumbai received light showers on Tuesday evening, bringing relief from the sweltering weather

The IMD issued a yellow and orange alerts for Wednesday for almost the entire state, except Solapur, with warning of thunderstorms, lightning and squall
