Thackeray recounted an interaction with an RSS member who questioned the absence of jubilation despite someone winning. He highlighted a shocking discrepancy where MNS leader Raju Patil did not receive a single vote from his own village of 1,400 voters.
Thackeray cited a similar case in Marathwada, where a corporator who previously secured 5,500 votes in his ward managed only 2,500 in the assembly elections. He pointed to Congress veteran Balasaheb Thorat’s unexpected defeat, despite winning comfortably in previous elections.
He acknowledged BJP’s rise from 105 to 132 seats but questioned the credibility of Ajit Pawar securing 42 seats. Sharad Pawar, a political stalwart, managed to secure only 10 seats, raising further doubts about the results.
Thackeray compared the assembly and Lok Sabha results, highlighting inconsistencies in the number of MLAs elected from constituencies where MPs had secured victories. He expressed skepticism over the electoral process, alleging that votes cast for MNS were not reflected in the final count.
Thackeray suggested that if elections were to be conducted in such a manner, it would be futile to contest at all. He criticized media narratives, claiming that journalists aligned with political agendas deliberately manipulate public perception.
He defended himself against allegations of inconsistency, stating that his political stance has remained steadfast despite propaganda. Thackeray reassured his supporters that his silence post-results did not indicate inaction but rather deep contemplation.
He revealed that various individuals, including film director Laxman Uttekar, had met him over the past two months. He encouraged people to watch Chhawa, a film on Shiv Chhatrapati, emphasizing its historical and inspirational significance.
He asserted that Sambhaji Raje’s legacy is one of sacrifice and must be respected accordingly. Thackeray raised concerns about historical inaccuracies in the film, particularly regarding the depiction of Lezim.
He emphasized the importance of correctly portraying Maharashtra’s history, ensuring it is not distorted for cinematic purposes.

He concluded by stating that emotions tied to history must be acknowledged, especially regarding the atrocities committed by Aurangzeb.
