According to data released by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the water level in Tansa stands at 98.69 per cent

The water level at Modak-Sagar reservoir is at 99.99 per cent

The water levels in the Middle Vaitarna, Upper Vaitarna, Bhatsa, Vihar, and Tulsi reservoirs are at 98.52 per cent, 99.58 per cent, 99.27 per cent, 100 per cent, and 100 per cent of their respective usable capacities

The collective water storage in these seven lakes amounts to 14,36,409 million liters

BMC also stated that the average rainfall in Mumbai City, Eastern Suburbs and Western Suburbs on October 1, 2023, from 8 am to October 2, 8 am is at 11.43 mm, 6.33 mm, 3.07 mm respectively
