Celebrations Outside Eknath Shinde's Residence After ECI's Order

Followers of Eknath Shinde lead Shiv Sena camp were elated after  ECI on Feb 17 cleared Shinde’s claim of party name ‘Shiv Sena’ and bow-and-arrow symbol. Notably, both factions of Shiv Sena have been fighting for the bow and arrow symbol of the party since Shinde revolted against Thackeray last year. The Commission observed that the current constitution of the Shiv Sena party is undemocratic. Shiv Sena leaders from Shinde’s Fraction expressed happiness and welcomed EC’s decision
