Akhilesh Yadav holds Yogi govt responsible for Maha Kumbh stampede disaster

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav called the Maha Kumbh stampede tragic and criticized the government for poor arrangements despite the big publicity. He said the list of people who died or went missing should be released. Akhilesh pointed out that the government invited people, which was an unusual move because devotees typically come on their own. He claimed those who were not invited, but came with faith, became the victims. He also blamed both the Delhi and UP governments for the incident, saying BJP cannot escape responsibility. Akhilesh added that he would not visit the victims, as the BJP would accuse him of politicizing the tragedy.
