He started his career in the aviation industry and spent 6 years working as Airport Ground Staff for three of the biggest names in cargo airlines, post which he worked his way through Couriers and Shipping Freight, gaining a strong foundation in the Indian Logistics Industry. He then acquired an MBA degree with Marketing as his major and contributed to the Branding and Marketing efforts of various brands across all industries while he worked for several Marketing agencies for 12 years. He has worked with some of the most prestigious brands in India, and overseas. Luv now heads the Brand and Marketing division at East West Freight Carriers Ltd, India's largest logistics company, incorporating his collective experience in both industries. East West Freight Carriers Limited is a well-established international freight & trade network, offering a global logistics network powered by an exceptional pan-India and international distribution setup encompassing offices in 14 metropolitan and port cities with 180+ agents across 75 countries.


He has overseen the successful migration of the new EWFCL website and is the brain behind EWFCL's full digital presence, transforming its once-limited digital footprint. From establishing the value of their brand's tone and amplifying their digital presence to educating everyone about the importance of online reputation as well as capitalizing on Facebook and Instagram for business. His understanding that the attention span of people is less than 10 secs and therefore using creative video to highlight has been a tremendously satisfying journey for him. Within a year, competitors from India and around the world followed the EWFCL page and admired their work asking for suggestions to improve their own online branding efforts and key logistics industry news, keeping the info visually appealing not only to the global audience.  His career is witness to how every step in our life is a building block and how all things eventually come together to form a bigger and better picture.


'Brand Growth' is the focal point while 'Customer Satisfaction' is the wheel that spins around it according to Luv, as he believes it to be the main purpose behind logistics marketing in India. His aim is to directly understand customer needs and requirements in order to develop strategies that work for EWFCL.

Luv Deshpande plays a primary role in leading and driving the brand marketing department while building strong relationships across the business as well as externally. He puts together an exceptional brand marketing cross-functional team, and leads its development, driving new ideas and crucial day-to-day brand marketing operations with the support of this team.

As Head of Brand Marketing Luv has a strong understanding of the platforms, channels, and strategies/approaches that will enable the brand marketing department to reach all these audiences and lead brand strategy, and drives the operational delivery of strategy, inclusive of communications campaigns and network building.

He is also responsible for the creation of all forms of marketing, for example, interactive marketing, direct marketing campaigns, advertising, sales collateral, press releases, and executive presentations. He additionally plays the role of ensuring that all branding programs are aligned with the overall business objectives and that they are optimized and relevant to multiple audiences. Through Collaboration with the MD of EWFCL Mr. Mohammed Ajaz and the Sales team, Luv formulates the delivery of both offline and online brand marketing. In this capacity, he also establishes a process for benchmarking the brand’s performance in various in order to ensure that campaigns are relevant and competitive. With accuracy and attention to detail, EWFCL is a recognized and Award-winning company powered by experts supervising operations and offering personalized solutions with incomparable access to an all-inclusive network of air, ocean, rail, and road transport facilities. Luv Deshpande has recently been awarded “Under 40 Industry Experts Brand Marketing Category (Logistics) by Business Mint.
