The Team
We got a chance to meet the team behind the show, starting with the founder of Prachand Entertainment & the lead actor of Let Us Live In! Alii Khan.
“Prachand Entertainment is about new-age media; it exists between the twilight of tech and media. Our mission is to empower the modern entertainment landscape. Let Us Live In is an initial step in that direction-it’s short, crisp, and written in a very unique way. It’s only because of the relentless attitude and energy of the Prachand team that we managed to achieve this much at this scale. I look forward to the future!
Alii Khan (Founder of Prachand Entertainment, Producer, Actor, Writer - Let Us Live In, playing Ritwik)
“Let us live in series will always be special to me! Not only was the storyline and character relatable but also very fun to play. It was the first time I was working on a vertical format which created room for so much exploration and novelty as an actor. However working with a team packed with so much talent and energy truly took the cake! I will always cherish it.“
Sirina Singh (Actress - Let Us Live In, playing Aanvi)
One of the directors of the show, Divith Shetty shared his creative vision behind the series!
Directing this vertical show was a challenge I wholeheartedly embraced. I didn’t want it to feel like just another reel; I wanted every reel to be an experience! My goal was to bring the same drama, fun, cinematic flair, and sheer madness but reimagined in vertical format.”
Divtih Shetty (Director, Writer - Let Us Live In)
The writers shared their experience as well!
“The writing process was both fresh due to the 90 sec time limit per episode. We had to stay within this constraint while ensuring the screenplay was tight, and full of hooks. It was an exercise in discipline and creativity. We completed the entire series in just 8 days! There was no blueprint for this; it was a true experiment, but one that paid off.”
Sanchit Chadha (Creative Director & Writer - Let Us Live In)
“It was an exciting journey, something completely different and unique. Vertical storytelling has been on the horizon and is going to blow up a lot in the future. To be able to create something before it becomes mainstream feels innovative, we wanted to set a benchmark for what’s possible in this format.”
Viven Solanki (Writer - Let Us Live In)
We also spoke to the team responsible for social media strategy and its lead Darshan Chauk.
The very way we use instagram as creators had to be reinvented, everything relied on our social media strategy, I took it up as a challenge and we dove into organic marketing without spending a dime. It was a thrilling and collaborative process. I’m happy to see such an exponential growth in the series, it just goes on to affirm our beliefs in the format and what the future holds!
Darshan Chauk (Digital Marketer & Social Media Specialist - Let Us Live In)
Finally we also sneaked into the post production rooms and met Asmita Jaibhave, the sound designer of the series.
It was my first time working on something like this, and it took just as much effort as a film- given the experimental format. It may sound like a reel, but the processes I’ve used are film-like, and there are layers of audio to ensure we push this format to its limit! It’s been an incredible learning experience!
