She along with her husband Rohit Khopkar launched Kitchen 1623 at Andheri. Karuna Chatterjee will look after marketing and promotion where as Rafat Adam will look after production management.

She has also worked at Indigo in Mumbai to learn more ideas regarding food. She has specialised in making cookies, cakes, jams sandwiches and all sorts of food. Actor Rakesh Kukreti was present to taste the cakes and sandwiches.
