Shraddha Kapoor will soon be seen in the sequel of Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashiqui opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor. However the film has come at a huge price for the youngster. Shakti Kapoor’s daughter, who was managed by YRF Talent, has been shown the door by Yash and Aditya Chopra.

A source informs, “Shraddha Kapoor had a three film deal with Yash Raj Films. She featured in Luv Ka The End which, bombed at the box office more than a year back and after that Shraddha has been waiting for her next film. After nearly a wait of one year and no films, Shraddha got a call from Mahesh Bhatt’s production house and she was offered Aashiqui 2.

Around the same time, YRF offered her Aurangzeb opposite Arjun Kapoor, which also required the same dates. Shraddha did not commit to doing Auragzeb and went ahead and signed Aashiqui 2 without taking the consent from her production company. When the officials at YRF learnt about her deal outside, they were extremely annoyed and asked her to leave.”

The source further said, “Shraddha had to make a choice. It had been two years and now finally they offered her Aurangzeb opposite Arjun Kapoor. But she had made up her mind and went ahead and signed Aashiqui making it clear that she no longer wanted to be a part of YRF.”

Although Shraddha remained unavailable for comment, the spokesperson of YRF said, “Shraddha was not a part of Aurangzeb and she has parted ways amicably as we had no films to offer her at this stage.”u00a0
