Sidharth, Alia and Fawad start shooting for 'Kapoor & Sons'

Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan have started filming their upcoming movie "Kapoor & Sons" here yesterday.

Directed by Shakun Batra of "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" fame, the film is produced by Karan Johar.

"@shakunbatra 's #kapoorandsons kickstarts today!! All the best to the cast and crew!! @S1dharthM @_fawadakhan_ @aliaa08 @chintskap," Johar posted on Twitter.

Sidharth, who was last seen in "Ek Villain", asked his fans to wish him luck for their new film.

"Day 1 of #kapoorandsons wish us luck people @shakunbatra @aliaa08 @iFawadKhan @chintskap @karanjohar," he wrote.

The film is a modern family drama with love triangle embedded in it.

Batra's directorial debut "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" was also produced by Johar, who even launched Alia and Sidharth in "Student Of The Year".

Pakistani actor Fawad made his Bollywood debut last year in Sonam Kapoor-starrer Disney drama "Khoobsurat".
