Having commenced on October 12, the 11th Jagran Film Festival is set to present a collection of interactive sessions with artistes from the film industry. The largest travelling film festival that promises a glamorous showcase of the finest cinematic talents began with a captivating interactive session featuring the team behind Thank You for Coming, including Bhumi Pednekar, Rhea Kapoor, and Karan Boolani. Director, screenwriter, and producer Anees Bazmee was present to share details of his decades-long journey in the film industry, along with industry veterans like Amit Rai, DK and Raj, and Mukesh Chhabra.

Today, filmmaker Aanand L Rai will take the stage to share his experiences of working in cinema, while Piyush Mishra, celebrated for his contributions to theatre and cinema, will also be part of the event.

An emotional and insightful conversation with Vishal Batra—brother of Kargil War hero Param Vir Chakra-Vikram Batra—will follow. Casting director Anmol Ahuja will also be part of the festival and will participate in an engaging session on the intricacies of casting.

Tomorrow, Amit Sadh and Bobby Deol will engage with the audience. Deol will talk to cinephiles about his journey spanning from the 1990s to the present day.

The festival’s grand finale on October 15 will see Karisma Kapoor talk to the audiences about her illustrious career, and the challenges that she has overcome.

The film screenings at the Jagran Film Festival promise to be as diverse and compelling as the celebrity line-up. Guthlee Ladoo will make its India premiere, and screenings of Eismayer and Jananam: 1947 Pranayam Thudarunnu will also take place. For the closing ceremony, films like Siya (Indian section), Property (international section) and Tatkhana (regional section) will be screened.
