About Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's Dreamy Proposal:

During their time on "Koffee with Karan," Ranveer shared how he proposed to Deepika during their Maldives vacation. The actor said, "Ram Leela happened, and we're in this, and when I felt the moment was right, I decided she is the one. Before anyone sweeps her away, main jaake chappal rakh deta hu. Before anything can happen, just put the ring on it. I put a diamond ring, which was beyond my resources at that time but even so, an impressive one. I was in cahoots with my sister and mum acquiring the ring. We (Deepika and I) were going to take a holiday, and I decided to propose to her on the holiday. I got the ring, and my folks were like, 'Are you going to propose?' I was like, 'Yes.' They asked, 'Are you not consulting her parents?' I didn't have that degree of maturity. I said, 'No, I'm marrying her, so I will ask her.' We went to the Maldives, and I secretly carried the ring with me. We did the sandbank adventure. A boat takes us out in the middle of the sea, and there's just one tiny sliver of sand in the middle. There's an infinite sea around you. You can spend quality time on that sliver of sand. After the boat left, there was just me and her. I was like, 'This is it, I have done it.' This is the perfect scenario."
