There’s Bhaigiri, and then there’s brashness. The latter was displayed over the weekend when Salman Khan’s fans burst crackers inside a theatre during the screening of Antim: The Final Truth. The superstar had promptly taken to social media to express his disappointment. Days since the episode, he is appalled at the recklessness of it all. “That didn’t go down well with me. There have been incidents where people lost their lives [in theatres], and those happened by accident. But here, [they were] inviting trouble. I understand the intention, but this is a dangerous [action]. It’s dangerous for people who have innocently gone to watch a film,” states the actor.

Khan has since urged his fans to behave responsibly. Highlighting another episode, he says, “They were pouring milk on my posters. If you want to give milk, there are many kids to whom you can [donate it].” The actor, who is happy with the box-office figures of Antim, reminds his admirers that they have the ability to do larger good. “A lot of my fan [clubs] worked hard during the pandemic, providing oxygen cylinders and medicines.”
