Shefali Shah's phenomenal performance in the recently released Ajeeb Daastaans is being widely appreciated. She shared screen space with Manav Kaul and their story has been liked by the majority of the audiences. She featured in Kayoze Irani's story, 'Ankahi' from 'Ajeeb Daastaans', co-starring Manav Kaul and Tota Roy Chowdhary. Irani's film revolves around love, want and sign language. Interestingly, 'Human', the medical thriller that she shot for till March, also has her playing a doctor.

The actress recently directed a short film 'Someday'. The film had made it to the 51st annual USA Film Festival's International Short Film and Video competition. 'Someday' is a story of two women, united by the umbilical cord and separated by a door.
