Sushmita Sen back with ex-beau Rohman Shawl? Video from Diwali 2023 party indicates so!

In a viral video from Ramesh Taurani's Diwali 2023 party on Tuesday, Rohman Shawl can be seen helping Sushmita Sen walk down the stairs. It sparked off rumours of their reunion

Diwali 2023 is around the corner and B-Town parties have begun. Oozing glamour, the bashes are the current talk of the town. On Tuesday, film producer Ramesh Taurani hosted a Diwali party which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood. Among the guests were Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl. 

Sushmita and Rohman, who announced their breakup in 2021, were seen attending the Diwali 2023 party together. Rumours of a patch-up sparked off after a paparazzi video showed them posing happily. In the viral clip, Rohman could be seen helping Sushmita walk down the stairs. The actress smiled for the paparazzi. She posed for solo pictures too. 

Netizens felt Sushmita and Rohman are back together. One person wrote, "Oo ho officially back together again." Another user expressed, "I wish u would get married to him ma'am. U both compliment each other so much." A fan commented, "Perfect together ...made for each other."

According to reports, Sushmita and Rohman began dating in 2018 after he sent messages to her on social media. They would often share pictures together on Instagram. Right from family vacations to workout, the couple was inseparable. However, around mid-2021, there were reports of a breakup. It was in December 2021 that Sushmita confirmed parting ways with the model. Announcing the same, she wrote on Instagram, "We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains!!#nomorespeculations #liveandletlive #cherishedmemories #gratitude #love #friendship I love you guys!! #duggadugga."

A year later, in July 2022, Lalit Modi, who is known for launching the Indian Premier League, shared pictures with Sushmita from their vacation and confirmed being in a relationship with her. His caption read, "Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families - not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47- a new beginning a new life finally. After the announcement, Sushmita hit back at trolls for calling her a 'gold digger'. Sharing an Instagram post, she wrote, "The so-called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies….the ignorant with their cheap & at times funny gossip. The friends I never had & the acquaintances I’ve never met….all sharing their grand opinions & deep knowledge of my life & character… monetising the ‘Gold Digger’ all the way!!! Ah, these geniuses!!!"
