'It was not love at first sight' : Kevin Bacon on wife Kyra Sedgwick

Actor Kevin Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick have been happily married for more than 35 years. Kevin and Kyra formally met on the set of their 1988 movie, Lemon Sky. Recently, on The Drew Barrymore Show, Bacon recalled the initial days of their relationship. "I will tell you that I was doing a lot of Off-Broadway, many years before that. I was 19 so she was 12, I think. Her mom had seen me in some plays Off-Broadway, and she knew that little 12-year-old Kyra wanted to be an actor," Bacon recalled, reported People. "I was buying a sandwich in the deli around the corner. This 12-year-old girl came up and said, 'Hi, I liked you in the play.' And, according to her, I said, 'Thanks, sweetie.' You know, kind of misogynistic," Bacon added. He continued, "She tells this story that when we first met doing Lemon Sky, she said, 'You know we met in the village after that play that time. Do you remember that?' And I went, 'Yeah I do remember that.' And she went, 'Really?' And I went, 'No,'" as per the outlet. "So she did not like me. It was not love at first sight," he concluded, as per the outlet. Bacon and Sedgwick tied the knot in 1988 and are now parents to son Travis, 35, and daughter Sosie, 33, reported People. Olivia Wilde and ex-husband Jason Sudeikis hug it out following a messy spilt

Hollywood actress-director Olivia Wilde had a reunion with her former partner Jason Sudeikis in Los Angeles. The two seemed to be on good terms nearly two years after settling their child custody case, reports ‘People’ magazine. The ‘Ted Lasso’ star, 49, and the ‘Don't Worry Darling’ director, 41, were recently spotted hugging as they took their kids to a playground. As per ‘People’, the former couple were seen chatting and smiling as their son Otis, 10, and daughter Daisy, 8, played nearby, before they went their separate ways. Sudeikis and Wilde first began dating in 2011 after meeting at a Saturday Night Live finale party and got engaged the following year. They welcomed Otis in April 2014 and Daisy in October 2016, before calling it quits in 2020 after a seven-year engagement. After news of their split broke in November 2020 and Wilde was thrust into the spotlight when she began dating Harry Styles, a source told ‘People’ that the pair's children were their main concern. "It's been amicable, and they've transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family's relationship", the insider said. While things appeared amicable between the pair for some time after their split, the co-parents made headlines in April 2022 when Sudeikis served Wilde with legal documents regarding their children while she was speaking onstage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Olivia then reportedly said in a court filing, obtained by the ‘Daily Mail’, that Sudeikis "chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible", which was "intended to threaten me and catch me off guard”. Later that year, a source said that despite their contentious custody battle, Wilde wanted "to focus on what's best for the kids”. Denise Richards revisits some of her dark memories with ex-husband Charlie Sheen

Hollywood actress Denise Richards is revisiting some dark memories as she looked back on her complicated past with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. The actress recalled one Christmas when the actor, 59, ended up in jail, reports ‘People’ magazine. Speaking on the latest episode of ‘Sibling Revelry with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson’ podcast, the 54-year-old actress, who shares daughters Sami Sheen, 21, and Lola Sheen, 19, with the actor, said, “He was arrested on Christmas, and he called me from jail to say ‘Merry Christmas’ to the girls. And they were busy playing with their toys. They're like, ‘We'll talk to Dad later’. I go, ‘I think Dad's gonna be a little busy later’”. As per ‘People’, she added that she didn’t clue her kids in to the truth of the situation. “I didn't say, your dad just got f****** arrested and he's in jail so come say ‘Merry Christmas’ right now”, the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ alum noted. Charlie Sheen was arrested in 2009 on Christmas Day after his then-wife Brooke Mueller accused him of assault. He later pleaded guilty to the charges and spent 30 days in jail. The actress revealed that throughout her daughters’ adolescence, she attempted to keep Sheen’s struggles private. “If I was at a school performance and he was supposed to show up and I get a call, ‘Something happened sideways, hospital, whatever’. I'm not going to tell the kids the truth”, she said. “I told them I lied and I said, ‘Dad had to work’. Some of the things were so outrageously bad where I'm like, ‘I can't say that’”. The impact of that decision is still affecting the mother of three today. “I actually sheltered the kids almost to a point of where now as they're getting older, they're discovering things and they were at first getting upset with me, like, 'Why didn't you tell me this?'", she said. The actress shared that her main goal was to “protect their relationship” with Sheen. “There was a time I didn't know if he was gonna live, and I didn't want the girls to ever get to know their dad, [from] what they would read”, she said. “I wanted it to be their experience and their relationship. And I also didn't want to put my feelings on them because that's not fair to them and their relationship with him”. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. Jenna Ortega clears the air on what led to her exit from 'Scream 7'

Hollywood actress Jenna Ortega has revealed that her exit from the 'Scream' franchise was over her shooting schedule. This is contrary to the reports that cited scheduling conflicts and pay discrepancy as the reason behind her exit.  Ortega, who played Tara Carpenter in 2022’s 'Scream' and 2023’s 'Scream VI', exited the seventh movie in November 2023 reports 'Variety'. She told 'The Cut', “It had nothing to do with pay or scheduling. The Melissa stuff was happening, and it was all kind of falling apart". "If ‘Scream VII’ wasn’t going to be with that team of directors and those people I fell in love with, then it didn’t seem like the right move for me in my career at the time", she added. As per 'Variety', the “Melissa stuff” refers to Ortega’s 'Scream' co-star Melissa Barrera, who was fired from 'Scream 7' due to social media posts she put up about Israel and Palestine. News of Ortega’s exit followed one day after Barrera’s firing, which naturally led to speculation that Ortega was leaving the franchise out of support for Barrera. Barrera was fired from 'Scream 7' due to her social media posts supporting Palestine and criticizing Israel for “genocide and ethnic cleansing”. Franchise producer Spyglass Media Group said in a statement to 'Variety' at the time, “Spyglass’ stance is unequivocally clear: We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech". After Barrera’s firing, 'Scream 7' director Christopher Landon posted and deleted a statement on X that read, “Everything sucks. Stop yelling. This was not my decision to make”. About a month later, Landon exited the film and wrote on social media: “It was a dream job that turned into a nightmare. And my heart did break for everyone involved. Everyone. But it’s time to move on.” 'Scream' moved on with Kevin Williamson, the franchise’s original screenwriter, stepping in to direct the seventh installment, which will feature the return of franchise icon Neve Campbell. Ortega moved on with both the second season of her Netflix smash hit 'Wednesday' and the box office success of last year’s 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice'. “I’ve happened to join a lot of franchises, which is so great to be a part of legacy”, Ortega told The Cut. “But for me, I’m really trying to prioritize new directors and original stories. I know on the outside, maybe people are looking at my choices like, ‘Man, what the hell is this girl doing?’ I never thought I would do a movie (like A24’s ‘Death of Unicorn’). But an original script is exciting. If I can help get it made, I would love to do that". This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. Kevin Bacon reveals his kissing scene with Matt Dillon from ‘Wild Things’

Actor Kevin Bacon has revealed that there was a kissing scene between him and actor Matt Dillon in ‘Wild Things’. Kevin shared that he and Matt Dillon were supposed to start making out during their shower scene in the film, reports ‘People’ magazine. While discussing career highlights on Esquire’s ‘For the Record’ video series, the 66-year-old actor said a “great twist” between his character, police detective Ray Duquette, and Dillon’s, guidance counselor Sam Lombardo, was cut from the erotic thriller’s script. As per ‘People’, in their already steamy shower scene, in which Sam walks into the bathroom to shower, only to discover a fully nude Ray is already in there, the scrapped twist was an intimate kiss between the two men. “In the original script, we start making out”, Bacon recalled. “Part of what was crazy about the movie was that there were all these twists, you know, that was like the hook of the movie, so to me, (the kiss) was a great twist. That’s all. I was like, ‘That’d be an awesome twist’”. “But I don't know. For some reason, it got cut. We didn’t shoot it. I don't think we shot it. I think it just got cut”, the ‘Footloose’ star said about making ‘Wild Things’, which also starred Neve Campbell and Denise Richards. An off-screen producer then asked Bacon to confirm that he was "attached to" the kiss scene, a statement they previously made before the actor looked back at the cut moment, he said in response, "Yeah, I definitely was. Look at him, he's gorgeous”. Bacon previously discussed the axed scene 20 years ago in a 2005 interview with ‘Total Film magazine’. He revealed that “another surprise” was supposed to be Matt climbing into the shower with him for the kiss. This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. Bill Murray clears the air on 'Being Mortal' set misconduct allegations

Bill Murray opened up about what happened on the set of Being Mortal, which was shut down over complaints of the prolific comedian's on-set misconduct, reported Variety. While speaking with The New York Times, as quoted by Variety, regarding his new movie, 'The Friend,' Murray disclosed a surprising fact that he and his character in the film Being Mortal was accused of "inappropriate misconduct." The 'Being Mortal' actor disclosed the details of the incident which led to allegations of misconduct against him. He said, "It was Covid, we were all wearing masks and we were all stranded in this one room listening to this crazy scene. I dunno what prompted me to do it. It's something that I had done to someone else before, and I thought it was funny, and every time it happened, it was funny. I was wearing a mask, and I gave her a kiss, and she was wearing a mask. It wasn't like I touched her, but it was just, I gave her a kiss through a mask. And she wasn't a stranger," said Murray, as quoted by Variety. Murray admitted the incident still bothers him since shortly after, the movie was shut down by "human rights or 'H & R' of the Disney corporation," which he described as "more strident than some other countries." "It turned out there were pre-existing conditions and all this kind of stuff. I'm like, what? How was anyone supposed to know anything like that? There was no conversation; there was nothing. There was no peacemaking, nothing. It went to this lunatic arbitration, which, if anyone ever suggests you go to arbitration: Don't do it. Never ever do it. Because you think it's justice, and it isn't," said Bill Murray, as quoted by Varity. However, after the whole incident, the actor still believes that it was a funny incident which was taken out of context. "But it was a great disappointment because I thought I knew someone, and I did not. I certainly thought it was light. I thought it was funny. To me, it's still funny, the idea that you could give someone a kiss with a mask on. It's still stupid. It's all it was," said Bill Murray as quoted by Variety. The upcoming film of Bill Murray, 'The Friend,' is directed by Scott McGehee and David Siegel. As per Variety, the movie follows New York City writer Iris (Naomi Watts), whose life of quiet and solitude is upended by Apollo, a great dane inherited from her late mentor. According to Variety, back in April of 2022, production on Being Mortal was indefinitely suspended after a complaint was issued about Murray's on-set incident. Justin Bieber and Hailey put divorce rumours to rest by showing up together

Singer-songwriter Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey were seen putting on a united front after weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship. The couple chose casual outfits, as they opted for baggy trousers and puffer coats. They stepped out for a sweet treat with their friend Lori Harvey, reports ‘Mirror.co.uk’. Justin and Hailey appeared to be in good spirits, both smiling, following the public backlash they'd both received. Last month, Hailey received a wave of criticism after a TikTok video, depicting how Hailey and Justin met, went viral on the social media app. The video accused Hailey of 'stalking' Justin for several years before they started dating in 2016. As per ‘Mirror.co.uk’, the video includes numerous clips and screen grabs alleging that Hailey strategically inserted herself into Justin's life whilst he was, at the time, dating Selena Gomez. As a result, the model was brutally scrutinised by fans. This comes after Justin was met with growing concern among his fans after paparazzi snaps showed him looking downcast and 'hollow-eyed.' Justin further fuelled speculation when he posted a video on Instagram showing himself smoking while listening to music. In the video, Justin frequently smiled at the camera, showing off his teeth and playfully blowing smoke as he made eye contact with the lens. He even leant in close to the camera, giving a cheeky smile, and then blew a puff of smoke towards it after taking a drag from a roll up cigarette. Some fans feared that the star’s actions may reflect deeper personal struggles, especially considering his past challenges with mental health. As the video was posted as an Instagram Story, where fans couldn’t comment, they took to his most recent post to share their opinions instead. One user commented: "Why is nobody talking about what he posted in his story?". Whilst another added: "Yh, that was cringe." A third penned: "No frr I’m not like shocked he’s smoking but why did he post it? (sic)". More recently, it was revealed that Justin's alarming behaviour had been causing Hailey considerable distress, and she has allegedly reached out to loved ones to ask for prayers for Justin.
